This film is a definitive exploration of singer-songwriter Leonard Cohen as seen through the prism of his internationally renowned hymn, “Hallelujah”. Approved for production by Cohen not long before his death, the documentary features rare and never-seen interviews and performance footage. Dan Geller, one of the two filmmakers involved, said "the real focus is Leonard the man asking the deep questions about the purpose of life, the challenges of life, the holiness of life, and the brokenness of life”.
