Register for Edible Mushroom Workshop
On Saturday, July 23rd, DLLT is pleased to welcome mushroom expert Greg Marley back to Grand Lake Stream. Always a community favorite, Greg will lead a day-long workshop to discover all of the edible, medicinal, and cultural wonders of mushrooms! Meet at the Grand Lake Stream School Building at 9:30 am – the first half of the class will be held indoors, presenting varieties and foraging techniques, and the second half of the program will be an interactive walk in the Community Forest, with hands-on identification lessons. Participants should bring their own lunch and drinks, and dress for the outdoors.

Blueberry Hike
On August 5 from 10 am to 12:30 pm, join DLLT staff for a hike along the Tower Hill Trail in search of the quintessential Maine fruit – wild blueberries! This tasty trek will begin at the West Grand Lake Dam parking lot. Bring some small cups to collect!
