Our popular “Archives Road Show” series held in 11 communities last year, energetically led by Lee Sochasky, will culminate in the “Charlotte County Heritage Fair” to be held Feb 22 at the Garcelon Civic Center in St Stephen from 9.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. This full-day event will: Showcase the activities of groups and individuals (museums, archives, genealogist, Facebook groups, and more) that are currently saving and sharing Charlotte County’s heritage; Provide practical workshops geared toward their needs and interests; Explore ways to collaborate, for mutual benefit; and Increase public awareness of Charlotte County heritage activities and show how to get involved.

The Town of St. Stephen is hosting Santa’s Arrival again this year! This is an event for the entire family and will be held on Saturday December 4, from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Just prior, from 10:00 to 11:00, Mrs. Claus will be sharing her love of stories and Christmas at the Garcelon.

This year, fast passes will be available online at this link. Walk-ins welcome as well! You need 1 ticket per family seeing Santa (i.e. if you have 3 children, you only need 1 ticket).

Area families are invited to a day of free activities at the Garcelon Civic Center on Monday, February 21. Families can skate at designated times (divided by age group, click here to see slots) between 10:00 am and 4:00 pm or swim between 10:30 am and 4:30 pm (tickets are required for swimming).

On May 1st from 7:00 to 9:00 pm, there will be a competition between St. Stephen teen hockey players and teen basketball players in a great game of hockey and fun. The basketball teens will have a special guest star (goalie Sheldon Young) on their side.

All proceeds will go back into the respective sports teams. $5 cover charge.

The third annual Ribfest in St. Stephen kicks off June 3 and runs through June 5. Held at the Garcelon Civic Centre, this event features full and half racks of ribs, pork ribs, pulled pork, chicken, corn breads, baked beans, slaw, and more - take your pick and enjoy!

Lobsterfest St. Stephen

St. Stephen's first Lobsterfest on June 25 features a choice of lobster or steak dinners, live music, a silent auction, dessert auction, pub games, and tours of the world's oldest basketball court! All proceeds will go to working to preserve and promote these courts.

Lobsterfest will be held at the Garcelon Civic Center from 5 pm to 1 am. Tickets are $100 each with a tax receipt provided. Buy tickets online or in person at St. Stephen Speedy or St. Stephen Canadian.
