Mark and Arlene Wren
We are both artists located in Robbinston, Maine. Mark is a stained-glass artist and has been creating an imaginative and extensive variety of stained-glass artwork for over thirty years. Arlene is a fiber artist and has been creating since she first learned to sew from her grandmother. Her main interest these days is creating braided wool rugs. She also upcycles denim and Carhartt jeans and uses the fabric and pockets to create quilts and braided rugs.
What began as hobbies for both of us has grown into a passionate full-time commitment. Our studios are located in our home. We have a well-stocked retail shop located right next to our home. While we enjoy creating artwork that is available “off the shelf” for our customers, we also create custom artwork to meet special requests. In addition, we are able to repair stained glass and braided rugs so that they may continue to be treasured and enjoyed.
We have participated in a number of local art organizations and festivals. The Grand Lake Stream Folk Art Festival and the Machias Blueberry Festival are two very popular art shows in Washington County. Visit our website, www.wrenovations.com, for our upcoming craft shows and directions to our home.
