| M.J. Edwards, Artist Rocky Corner Studio is located in scenic Whale Cove on beautiful Grand Manan Island. As a multidisciplinary artist, M.J. works in photography; photomontage; encaustic, oil and cold wax and mixed media paintings; and collage. She often incorporates old documents, photo transfers, flowers and found objects collected on daily walks into her mixed media and encaustic paintings which explore the passage of time, transience, surface texture, space, and place. Her photography explores abstraction, digital montage narrative, memory and nostalgia, the interaction and impact of people with and on their environment, and the processes of change and decay. | |
