Located in the historic former Dunn/Beaverbrook mansion in St. Andrews, the Oppenheimer-Prager Museum at Dayspring exhibits over 300 paintings by renowned artists Joseph Oppenheimer(1876-1966), a founder of the German Impressionist School, and his daughter Eva Prager O.C. (1912-2010) In addition to landscapes, flower paintings, still lifes, sketches and numerous portraits of such famous people as Albert Einstein, Otto-von-Bismarck, and Pierre Trudeau, this one-of-a-kind museum contains interesting family, Dunn and Beaverbrook stories, articles, photos, furniture, objets d’art, jewellery, displays, toys and even classic cars. There is something for everyone young and old, all contained in a fascinating and historically-significant 1920s ocean mansion.
