Let the Christmas competitions begin, Saint Andrews! Adorn Your Door and Light Up The Town" Contests are officially underway.
Adorn Your Door with holiday lights and magic and/or Light Up the Town, competing with your neighbors and going all out with lighting displays to brighten up the end of this 2020 season. Judging will take place on December 11th , and winners will be announced the following day on the Chamber of Commerce facebook page the following day.

Let’s light up our community and light up everyone's Spirits! There will be cash prizes of $100, $75, and $50 in each category plus some other great prizes. Criteria will include originality, home-made, lighting and anything goes. Please register by December 12 with Tessa Ftorek (853-2525) or Diana Boone (853-4884). You can also send them a Facebook message to register. Judging will take place on December 19 by members of the Coast Guard.

Downeast Coastal Conservancy and the Washington County Gem and Mineral Society are partnering for a joint hike through Reversing Falls in Pembroke on November 8th at 11am. Join DCC and WCGMS as we explore the area, talk about geology, and look for fossils. We will hike along the wooded shore and around the cove to a rocky viewpoint, walking about 1 mile round trip.
Join multi-talented artist Alanna Baird for this evening class in linoleum block printmaking. In this four-week course, students will be designing, carving, and printing their own linocut prints! Suitable for beginners and experienced printmakers alike, you can learn the techniques involved, or practice and refine your existing skills. Basic supplies included. We recommend students begin planning a 5″x 7″ design in advance of the course. Materials Required by Students: PPE (face masks)
