ATV Rider Safety Classes
Two ATV safety classes will be offered at Musquash on May 7-8 and 14-15. For club members (holding NBATVF trail permits), the cost is $20 for children and $50 for adults. Kids can rent an ATV for $35.
To register, go to www.atvquad.ca/en/new-brunswick or contact Marion for more information. When registering, put Marion St. Pierre when asked to fill in "Recommended by".

The Bold Coast Runners invite you on weekly excursions around Downeast Maine and the Maritimes, with runners of all capabilities welcomed to join. Run venues vary weekly and range from 1 mile to 50 miles, from smooth tar to rugged single track.

Every Sunday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm, come to the Stella Maris Community Hall in Beaver Harbour (837 Main St) for the Blacks Harbour jam. Musicians and singers of all capacities are invited to come and join in the fun - or just come to listen and kick up your heels.

The stellar sounds of Sir Elton John are now here at the University of Maine's planetarium! Join us and listen to some of Elton’s greatest hits, like Crocodile Rock, Rocket Man, I’m still Standing, and more! Each song has its own custom visuals/music videos made to be played in our dome, so come rock out with us!
This show runs on Sundays in May from 4:00 to 5:00 pm. Tickets are $9 and can be booked here or purchased at the door.

Sunbury Shores is creating a window installation for displaying local poetry! Submit your poem to info@sunburyshores.org and we will select a collection to print for the public to enjoy! If you are looking for inspiration to get going, might we suggest the following: Create short phrases in your poetry that reach out to people as they pass; comfort them, make them think, share a thought that's stuck with you; or make poems that jump into people's pockets as they carry on through their day.

NB public libraries are giving away free passes to the NB Botanical Garden in Edmundston to anyone with a public library card. From May 2 – 20, 2022, you can come to the library to get your pass, which you can use to gain a one-time entrance to the park on any day it is open between May 21 and June 10, 2022.
The passes are available for a limited time so don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity!

TimberNook Downeast invites you to the launch events of its nature programming for little ones in the region from May 9-11. Ages 7-11 will meet on May 9 from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, ages 4-8 will meet on May 10 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, and ages 18 months-4 years will meet on May 11 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am.

Those interested in joining America's fastest growing sport can head to Calais Elementary on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:00 pm. Balls and nets will be provided, and paddles will be available if needed. Please dress for indoor playing and wear non-marking court shoes.

Are you a fan of horses, or do you know someone who is? Plan to attend a weekly camp at the Valley Run Horse Centre in St. Stephen to join in some horsey fun! The camp includes horse rides, small shows on Friday, vaulting, activities, games, water games, cart rides, painting, and bathing horses.

Registration is now open for Run for Cheer, a 5k, 10k & half marathon event hosted by Grand Manan's first annual Island Fest! Proceeds are going to Grand Manan's first competitive Breakers Cheerleading team.

Ganong Nature Park is proud to present the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride. A Canadian tradition since 1876, a troop of 32 scarlet coated “Mounties” on majestic black horses present a 30 minute show of intricate figures and cavalry drills choreographed to music.

Come and see an exhibit of Pysanky eggs on display at Lubec Memorial Library. Pysanky is a beautiful folk art from Ukraine, where the eggs are traditionally made and exchanged with friends and family as expressions of friendship, love and good luck.

Ecstatic Dance has resumed weekly meetings at Eastport Arts Center. All are invited to come and dance to great rhythmic music and move however they wish on Tuesdays from 5:00 - 6:00 pm. Attendees should wear loose, comfortable clothing and bring water to drink. The sessions are offered by $5 suggested donation.
Inquiries about the group may be made by email to info@eastportartscenter.org. Eastport Arts Center is at 36 Washington Street, and is handicapped-accessible. EAC abides by State of Maine CDC COVID guidelines. Additionally, at this time, patrons are required to wear masks when in the EAC building.
