Helmets are required for all youths.

Huntsman Marine's Ocean S.T.E.A.M.™ program was designed to provide individual high-school age students an opportunity to attend an immersive course of interest with other like-minded students and explore future career pathways in the ocean sector. 75,000 students have been educated through these programs.

The Community Caring Collaborative's Work Group meets with Poverty Busters on Zoom from 1:00-3:00 pm on the first Wednesday of each month. Work Group members are direct service workers, volunteers and agency admins who come together to share resources, support each other and brainstorm solutions to community needs. Poverty Busters are low-income community members, partners from agencies, and other community members working on grassroots strategies to increase poverty awareness locally and to remove the barriers that poverty creates. Both groups are now meeting together to improve communication and to ensure that the CCC is effective in helping to change outcomes for those it serves. Parents, service providers and other community members are welcome!

Community members are invited to join Healthy Acadia on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., via Zoom for, "The Presence-and Presents-of Our Voices," with special guest Danielle Woerner.
Ms. Woerner will lead participants in exploring how developing the simple habit of being attentive to the sound and sensation of our voices, not just the content of what we’re saying, can transform our communication with others - and with ourselves. Participants will use simple singing as well as speaking exercises to experiment and discover together. Pre-registration is required for this free event. The 4-H Aquarium Club is open to youth ages 5–18 who are interested in being members of a community of youth aquarium hobbyists. This online group is for Maine youth who already have an aquarium hobby, or who are looking to start one, to come together to talk about their love for fish and aquaria. The club is led by aquaculture experts Dr. Scarlett Tudor from UMaine’s Aquaculture Research Institute, and Melissa Malmstedt from the UMaine Center for Cooperative Aquaculture Research (CCAR)
The club meets during the first week of each month, on Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. Learn more and sign up.
Christian Music Share Nights will start up again on January 6 and will continue to be held the first Thursday of each month. We will gather on the 1st Floor of the Cherryfield Academy Community Center, located at 53 Main Street, Cherryfield, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A sound system is provided.

If you'd like to see some competitive sports action, come to the Garcelon Civic Centre for the Southern Senior Hockey League! This senior men's league is situated in Southern New Brunswick and spans from St. Stephen, New Brunswick to Saint John, New Brunswick. The league is registered through the Hockey New Brunswick’s Senior Hockey.
