You choose your distance - you choose your method.
Our goal is to have an organized 1k and 5k in the Grand Harbour area, an organized Boardwalk or Long Pond/Big Pond hike, and a kayak event somewhere. If you choose to bike you can just bike to any of the finish lines to receive your medal. If you choose to swim, you can do that on your own and just come to a finish location for your medal.
All events will be held on Saturday April 10 if possible, and you choose which one you would like to participate in.
This will take volunteers of course, and covid approval.
It's been awhile since we've been able to gather, but hopefully with 3 smaller venues we can do this.
Be sure to click 'going' or 'interested' to keep up with the information.
This event is by donation (minimum $20) So feel free to gather sponsors and/or donations, or just pay the $20 to enter. Everyone gets a medal.
Cheques can be made out to The Village of Grand Manan for tax purposes.
