Explore the rich medium of wet felting with the talented textile artist Chelsea Frigault Smith! Wet felting is the bonding of loose wool fibres through the use of friction and heat to create wool felt. In this course, you will learn the basics of three-dimensional wet felting to make a cozy pair of mittens – perfect for winter or seasonal gift! Perfect for beginners and a back to basics course for those with experience. Play with colour and texture and create your own unique felt masterpiece.

A grand opening event for our annual holiday exhibition featuring up to 30 local artists from all over New Brunswick. This is a great time to pick out a special gift and enjoy the vision of artists and artisans. If you'd like a chance to showcase your artistic talent, it's an open call and we are still accepting submissions! The art exhibition is on view until December 23.

CRAFTED: Holiday Artisan Market at Crow Town Gallery

Come meet the artisans while you shop local and handmade this season. Six vendors in a cozy, creative setting, refreshments, and holiday cheer. Joining us this year are: Mona Ingrid Love Designs (sterling silver, sea glass, and beach stone jewelry), Kathi Denman of Lubec Lavender (soaps and lotions), Heidi Herzberger of Pondview Studios (organic teas and botanical illustration), Lisa Marquis-Bradbury (mosaic art), Jolene Corey Doran of the Down East Fiber Gypsy (handknit woolens, hats, mittens, shawls, and eco-dyed silk scarves), and Shanna Wheelock of Cobscook Pottery (functional handcarved wares celebrating the local environment). Also on hand, Timberdoodlz notecard designs, Indigo Iris turquoise, amethyst, silver, and jasper jewelry, and painting, sculpture and prints by local artists.
