The 20-member Eastport Gallery cooperative has an opening for a new member. Interested artists are encouraged to apply.

The gallery is a constituent member of the Eastport Arts Center. Membership includes participation in monthly seasonal shows in the Water Street gallery, year-round virtual shows, an artist page and shop option on the gallery’s website and more.

The application submission period is from April 5-9, with notification by April 14.

Play by Play – Theater of the Absurd

Play by Play is a free theatre appreciation course offered by Stage East that builds participants' abilities to analyze and thoughtfully discuss plays through in-class readings and discussion as well as helpful study guides.

This session's focus is Theatre of the Absurd. Alongside facilitator, Mark Macey, participants will chart this movement's impact on theatre history and its relevance today. The reading line up is as follows:
