Eastport Arts Center (EAC) 36 Washington Street, Eastport

Eastport Arts Center’s first-ever Felt Fest is a three-day series of wool felting workshops for students of all levels, running July 9-11. Students may sign up for all 5 classes, which include both wet and dry methods, or choose among them. Felting is a meditative and fascinating tactile process, and instructor Audra Christie has enjoyed exploring the huge range of applications of the medium. Details of the five workshops and more information about Audra may be found here.

Space is limited and reservations are required, via our site or by email to workshops@eastportartscenter.org. A sliding fee scale (pay what you can) is available by request. Felt Fest has been supported by the Belvedere Traditional Handcrafts Fund of the Maine Community Foundation.
