KinderArts Free Weekly Sessions Resume in Two Towns

Eastport and Calais

KinderArts will resume on Thursdays 10-10:45 am at Sunrise Opportunities (the former Calais Congregational church), 21 Calais Avenue; and Fridays, 10-10:45 am at EAC. The sessions, led by popular instructor Caroline Coleman, will feature music, movement and yoga, and are designed for children up to age 5 to attend with a parent or caregiver.

Pre-register with Nicole at or walk-in. EAC is a handicapped-accessible venue that abides by State of Maine CDC COVID guidelines, revisiting our policy monthly. At this time, the use of masks in our building is optional.

Calling all birders and wannabees! Come join the Wingspan League, running weekly from January-March at the Lubec Brewing Company on Thursdays from 3-5 pm.

Wingspan is an award winging board game designed around birds, where players learn all the unique attributes of different birds! The winner is the player with the most points after 4 rounds. To join please text McGinley at 259-0064.

World and Contemporary Dance

Eastport Arts Center (EAC) 36 Washington Street, Eastport

EAC's World and Contemporary Dance Group meets on Thursdays from 4-5 pm. The group enjoys learning modern and classic international dances from around the globe, including Pata Pata and Jerusalem, along with line dances. Providing both a great form of exercise and an engaging new skill, the class is offered on a drop-in basis; no preregistration is necessary. A $5/class donation is appreciated.
