Zack Klyver: The Future of Whale Habitat Protection and Whale Watching in Passamaquoddy Bay

*rescheduled from January 28 due to illness* The Sunday Afternoons at the Arts Center series continues January 28 at 3 pm, when Zack Klyver will present on The Future of Whale Habitat Protection and Whale Watching in Passamaquoddy Bay, which will include a review of how communities surrounding Passamaquoddy Bay have repeatedly turned back large industrial projects, starting with the proposed Pittston Oil Refinery in 1973, in favor of protecting the environment, fisheries, and whales. Attendees will learn of options for the future of whale habitat protection and whale watching in Passamaquoddy Bay.

Offered by voluntary donation, with proceeds shared equally between the presenters and EAC ongoing program The Concert Series, which offers year-round programming run by volunteers. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. The full series schedule, which runs weekly through early April, skipping Easter Sunday, may be found at
