St. Andrews is holding a number of activities through December 26 in celebration of Christmas. For the week of November 23 to 26, there will be Christmas craft fairs, music including Shawn Richard, and a downtown tree lighting, among other events. Click here for more.
Sunbury Shores is creating a window installation for displaying local poetry! Submit your poem to info@sunburyshores.org and we will select a collection to print for the public to enjoy! If you are looking for inspiration to get going, might we suggest the following: Create short phrases in your poetry that reach out to people as they pass; comfort them, make them think, share a thought that's stuck with you; or make poems that jump into people's pockets as they carry on through their day.
The Nutcracker will run on November 25 and 26 in Ellsworth, December 2 in Machias, December 10 in Bar Harbor, and December 16 and 17 in Orono.

The Christmas Market will run on November 25 from 10 am to 2 pm at the Grand Manan Community Center, and then again on December 9 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm! Santa will be at both events as well. Come for your holiday gift buying needs!
There will be a second Benefit Raffle/Bake Sale event held for Addie LaPlante, the daughter of Branden and Krystin LaPlante. Addie broke her femur and is recovering from surgery. She will be needing another surgery in six months.
The event will take place on Saturday, November 25 at the Old BRS Cafeteria from 10 am to 4 pm. Any donation, big or small, will be appreciated for this event. All proceeds will go to medical and travel expenses. To donate, call Vergie Mitchell at 207-853-4701.
The Milltown Activity Group invites you to celebrate Christmas in Milltown on Saturday, November 25 at St. Patrick's Hall in Milltown from 11 am to 4 pm.
Featuring local crafts, baked goods, pickles and jams, and of course: Santa!
The Christmas Forest is now open! The Christmas Forest is an outdoor event located in Perry, Maine. With over 100,000 lights, and a synchronized music and light show this forest trail mesmerizes. Guests can walk the trail at their leisure.

Eastport invites you to shop and celebrate with us this holiday season in our newly bright and festive waterfront downtown. Join us for the annual tree lighting at the Peavey Library Bandstand on Saturday November 25 at 5 pm with hot cocoa by Girl Scout Troop 1702 and holiday carols joyously sung by all! That’s just the beginning, come back throughout December to eat, drink and shop local and attend our full slate of holiday events. Celebrate the holidays with us!
The St. Andrews Community Players present Murder on the Oriental Carpet (The Pantomime Returns!). Showtimes will run on November 23-25 at 7 pm, with a matinee on November 26 at 2 pm at the W.C. O'Neill Theatre.
