Donations sought for Christmas Market at Passamaquoddy Lodge

Passamaquoddy Lodge 230 Sophia St., St. Andrews

Passamaquoddy Lodge is looking for donations for a Christmas market for their residents so they can "shop" for their loved ones. Requested are items such as calendars, stuffed toys, gift bags, packaged candy, ornaments, etc, new or gently used. No nuts, please.

Please label with "Market" when dropped off. Donations will be accepted through December 8. Call Nathalie with any questions at 506-529-5240 ext 5245.

Seafood Raffle to Support Eastern Charlotte Community Kitchen

Charlotte County New Brunswick

Get your tickets for a great seafood prize in time for Christmas! This raffle is for 10 pounds of lobster and a 10 pound box of haddock fillets. Draw date is December 18.

Tickets are $2 each or three for $5. Contact communitymeals.ec@gmail.com for info on how to buy. Funds raised will support Eastern Charlotte Community Kitchen.

KinderArts Free Weekly Sessions Resume in Two Towns

Eastport and Calais

KinderArts will resume on Thursdays 10-10:45 am at Sunrise Opportunities (the former Calais Congregational church), 21 Calais Avenue; and Fridays, 10-10:45 am at EAC. The sessions, led by popular instructor Caroline Coleman, will feature music, movement and yoga, and are designed for children up to age 5 to attend with a parent or caregiver.

Pre-register with Nicole at nicole@eastportartscenter.org or walk-in. EAC is a handicapped-accessible venue that abides by State of Maine CDC COVID guidelines, revisiting our policy monthly. At this time, the use of masks in our building is optional.
