Sunbury Shores is pleased to announce an ongoing online writing group that will be meeting the second and fourth Tuesday of each month via Zoom. On the second Tuesday of each month, the group will meet from 10:00 to 11:30 am; on the fourth Tuesday, it will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

A selection of Wabanaki works in the collections of the Tides Institute & Museum of Art chosen in collaboration with Dwayne Tomah, director of the Sipayik Museum, and Donald Soctomah, director of the Passamaquoddy Cultural Heritage Museum and director of the Passamaquoddy Historic Preservation Office.

TIMA is open Tuesday–Sunday, 10 am–4 pm.

September Art Exhibit at the Library: Rox Corbett

Lubec Memorial Library 55 Water Street, Lubec

Rox Corbett is an award-winning charcoal artist who makes representational drawings mostly of animals. Her pictures are detailed and textural, somewhat abstract in composition, and full of shadows and light. An important aspect to her work is conveying the behavior or spirit of the animals she depicts, sometimes in humorous ways.

The exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours. A percentage of all sales will benefit the library.

There will be an ongoing monthly grief support group in St. George at St. Mark's Anglican Church/Community Hub (28 Main St.) starting on July 19 and running from 1-3 pm. The groups will continue on the third Tuesday of each month.
