Poets at the Window at Sunbury Shores

Online Event Anywhere you can connect to the internet, ME

Sunbury Shores is creating a window installation for displaying local poetry! Submit your poem to info@sunburyshores.org and we will select a collection to print for the public to enjoy! If you are looking for inspiration to get going, might we suggest the following: Create short phrases in your poetry that reach out to people as they pass; comfort them, make them think, share a thought that's stuck with you; or make poems that jump into people's pockets as they carry on through their day.

Anything Goes at Eastport Gallery

Eastport Gallery 109 Water Street, Eastport

For years our tag line at the gallery was Expect the Unexpected and we are working to bring a little of that back. We are starting with our first annual Anything Goes show, where we invite our member-artists to think outside the box, explore new mediums, and just have a little fun. The show opened on September 10 and will run through the end of the month. This year we are keeping it to 2D and 3D works but next year we are excited to expand to performative works, video, audio, and anything else our incredibly talented co-op can come up with!

Eastport Gallery is located at 109 Water Street and is open daily from 11 am to 5 pm Thursday through Monday in September. In October we will be open on select days to coincide with cruise ship visits. To learn about more upcoming events, visit eastportgallery.com.
