Join TIMA for the 18th annual New Year’s Eve Great Sardine and Maple Leaf event on Friday, December 31, 2022! TIMA is planning new ways to celebrate the New Year’s arrival in Canada and the US, including the traditional drops by the Great Sardine & Maple Leaf (watch online or in person!), online programming for those near and far, and take-home party and craft kits with free downloadable components.

The Bold Coast Runners invite you on weekly excursions around Downeast Maine and the Maritimes, with runners of all capabilities welcomed to join. Run venues vary weekly and range from 1 mile to 50 miles, from smooth tar to rugged single track.

Village of Blacks Harbour 50th Anniversary skating events

Patrick Connors Recreation Complex 65 Wallace Cove Road, Blacks Harbour

The Village of Blacks Harbour is turning 50 this year, and to celebrate, public skating events will be held at the Patrick Connors Recreational Complex.

On Sundays through February 19, from 12:45-1:45 pm, children and youth are invited to participate in Pucks and Sticks where they can learn some hockey basics at no cost. On Fridays, come for Public Skating from 5:30-7:30 pm. Admission is $2 a skater. Children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult to either event.
