Craft NB Christmas Festival

Craft NB's Christmas Festival is the biggest curated fine craft event of the year in New Brunswick! Shop from Craft NB's juried members. Outdoor European Style Christmas Market

An outdoor European Style Christmas market that challenges what Canadians know Christmas markets to be. The focus will be on eating, drinking and socializing with friends and strangers while shopping for some of those hard to buy for family and friends from local craftsmen/craftswomen and artisans.

Additional books will be added as they become available.

Prices are $1 for hard covers and 50 cents for paperbacks.

Baileyville Police Department's annual Stuff the Bus event will take place on December 3 from 9 am to 2 pm at Walmart in Calais. You may start picking up donated items on December 5 from 9 to 3 at the Baileyville Town Office.

With the cost of food and fuel through the roof there will be even more people in need this Christmas. Come and help us fill the big yellow bus. Meet us at the Baileyville Town Office around 3:00 that afternoon to help us unload if you can.

The Passamaquoddy Bay Symphony Orchestra (PBSO) is delighted to announce its upcoming fall performances: Saturday, December 3 at 3 pm at the Centre Street Congregational Church in Machias; and Sunday, December 4 at 2 pm at Sunrise Opportunities (formerly Calais Congregational Church) in Calais. Due to concerns about rising Covid rates in Washington County, the concert originally scheduled for Friday evening at Eastport Arts Center has been cancelled. 

A $15 donation is suggested for adults; admission for students is free. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. For more information about PBSO, click here.

Stage East: The Glass Menagerie

Bank Square Eastport

Stage East adventures beyond the Eastport Arts Center with its next production, The Glass Menagerie. The company will make use of the storefront space at 34 Water Street in Eastport, just across from the Waco Diner, to stage the classic American drama by Tennessee Williams.

Performances will be offered at 7 pm, Fridays and Saturdays, December 2, 3, 9 and 10; and at 2 pm, Sundays, December 4 and 11. Tickets are $15; attendees age 17 and under will be admitted free of charge. Doors for the show will open 30 minutes prior to performances (6:30 pm on Fridays and Saturdays; 1:30 pm on Sundays); attendees are asked to be in their seats promptly at 7 pm and 2 pm.
