Sunbury Shores is pleased to announce an ongoing online writing group that will be meeting the second and fourth Tuesday of each month via Zoom. On the second Tuesday of each month, the group will meet from 10:00 to 11:30 am; on the fourth Tuesday, it will meet from 7:00 to 8:30 pm.

GivingTuesday Concert to Support Schoodic Institute

Join The Schoodic Institute on November 29 from 5:30-7 pm for a special happy hour concert and conversation between Maine-based singer-songwriter Gordon Thomas Ward and Schoodic Institute as part of GivingTuesday. Gordon’s music spans several genres including Singer-Songwriter, Americana, and Contemporary Folk Rock.

During the concert, you’ll meet our Cathy and Jim Gero Acadia Early-Career Fellows Maya, Mikayla, and Olivia and learn about how they are helping us achieve our mission of inspiring science, learning, and community for a changing world. Attend in-person at Moore Auditorium or via Zoom. Beer, wine, and light refreshments will be provided.
