Tickets available for Royal Canadian Mounted Police musical ride

Ganong Nature Park is proud to present the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Musical Ride. A Canadian tradition since 1876, a troop of 32 scarlet coated “Mounties” on majestic black horses present a 30 minute show of intricate figures and cavalry drills choreographed to music.

Help name Entity 53

Residents of the Town of St. George, the Village of Blacks Harbour, Pennfield LSD, Beaver Harbour LSD, Fundy Bay LSD, St. George LSD, and a portion of St. Patrick LSD are invited to vote on the future name of what is temporarily being referred to as "Entity 53" under New Brunswick's new local governance structure. Choices are between "Eastern Charlotte", "Coastal Charlotte", and "Charlotte East".

Eastport Gallery invites all to submit works for Annual Community Show

Eastport Gallery has announced the call for entries for this year’s Community Show, which will open the season for the gallery’s downtown Eastport space at 109 Water Street, and also comprise a Virtual Show online. Local artists may select one piece from their virtual submissions (within size guidelines) to deliver to the Gallery at 109 Water Street on June 1 between 10 am and 2 pm. Artists may bring more than one piece, but the Gallery may not be able to display more than one due to space constraints.

The show opens June 4; all artists may submit up to three pieces to the Virtual show no later than May 25. Click here for the submission link and to find out more.

Paddlefest Music & Outdoor Recreation Festival

Paddlefest NB is a four-day long festival that combines music, art, recreational activities and environmental events for a full weekend of fun for music lovers and adventure seekers alike! Paddlefest 2022 will feature outdoor and community activities like kayaking, the Paddlefest Craft Market, the annual Beach Clean Up, Kids' Events, Yoga, the “Wharf to Wharf Trail Run” and much more.

Zillman Bird Print Art Show Opening

Our Cobscook Institute Community is invited to view the incredible artwork the Cobscook Experiential Programs students have created in collaboration with The Zillman Art Museum this year. This spring students worked with museum educator and artist Rochelle Lawrence to create their own relief prints of Maine birds. Students researched Maine birds, picked one to illustrate, carved their images on linoleum blocks, and printed images over the course of a two-day workshop.

The exhibit will run from Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm, through June 24 at the Cobscook Institute.

Alewife Smoking with Downeast Salmon Federation

Bring the whole family for a day on the banks of the Pennamaquan catching, dipping, smoking, and eating alewifes on Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm! We will have the Downeast Salmon Federation's mobile smoker onsite, and a talk from one of their experts. You can also get a sneak peek at the soon-to-be-finished Smithereen farm store and commercial kitchen!

The St. George Royal Canadian Branch 38 holds weekly events and the community is invited. On Monday, TOPS is held at 6:00 pm; contact Jimmy at 755-6042 for Cribbage Monday Nights.
