Book Spine Poetry Contest

The Milbridge Public Library invites everyone to participate in a poetry contest with a specific twist: the words must come from book spines. Stack your books, take a photo, and submit your entries. Each poem will be posted on Facebook and the winning poem will receive a $50 gift card for Books-A-Million. A separate gift card will be awarded to the best submission from those under 18.

Self-paced music classes through Grand Manan library

Music lessons can be very expensive but through the Grand Manan library you can now access many different lessons for an instrument of your choice. You will do it from the comfort of your home, at your own pace. Each instructor is a master musician who takes you step by step through the lessons.

Big Feet Pete footprint craft

Skating in St. Andrews

W.C. O'Neill Arena 24 Reed Ave, St. Andrews

The Town of St. Andrews offers multiple opportunities for skating at W.C. O'Neill Arena. Public skating is available Mondays from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, Sundays from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm for $2; Teens with Sticks (intended to train on stick skills) is open from Sundays, 1:00 to 2:00 pm for $2; and Tykes with Sticks (under age 12) is open on Fridays from 3:30 to 4:30. Helmets are required for all youths.
