The Town of St. Andrews offers multiple opportunities for skating at W.C. O'Neill Arena. Public skating is available Mondays from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, Sundays from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm for $2; Teens with Sticks (intended to train on stick skills) is open from Sundays, 1:00 to 2:00 pm for $2; and Tykes with Sticks (under age 12) is open on Fridays from 3:30 to 4:30. Helmets are required for all youths.

‘The Art of Publishing a Local Newspaper’ with Edward French and Lora Whelan

EAC’s Sunday Afternoons at the Arts Center series continues January 16 at 3:00 pm with 'The Art of Publishing a Local Newspaper' with Edward French and Lora Whelan, editor/asst. editor and publishers, The Quoddy Tides. For more than 50 years The Quoddy Tides has been covering the news of the communities around Passamaquoddy Bay and beyond.

Sunday Afternoons at the Arts Center programs are held in the Washington Street Gallery, downstairs at EAC (36 Washington Street). Admission is free; donations are gratefully accepted. The series will run through April, skipping Easter Sunday. To read the full series lineup, please visit https://eastportartscenter.org/constituent-groups/the-concert-series/. EAC abides by State of Maine CDC COVID guidelines. Additionally, at this time, patrons are required to wear masks when in the EAC building.
