Cobscook Center is offering an ongoing art club for tweens and teens beginning on January 13 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm and continuing Thursdays thereafter. In this youth led space we will nurture one another’s individual artist selves.

Participants are encouraged to come weekly but are also welcomed to drop in and try the club on for size. For more information or to register, click here.

Those interested in joining America's fastest growing sport can head to Calais Elementary on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:00 pm. Balls and nets will be provided, and paddles will be available if needed. Please dress for indoor playing and wear non-marking court shoes.

In this online presentation on January 13 at 6:00 pm, sound artist Dianne Ballon will introduce listeners to the beauty and the richness of sound through the sound work she has recorded over the past fellowship year. She will share the stories behind the sounds, including the difficulties of field recording and the discovery of a “lost” sound.
