Eastport Arts Center (EAC) 36 Washington Street
Eastport, ME 04631 United States

Eastport Arts Center is delighted to kick start the Sunday Afternoons at the Arts Center series at 3 pm, January 9 with ‘Jenny & The Barbs’ singing a cappella, mostly. The trio—Jennifer Gillies from Pembroke, Barbara Fox from Lubec, and Barbara Smith from Eastport—became friends while singing in Quoddy Voices. For pandemic therapy and enjoyment, they have been getting together weekly to sing for a few hours since the beginning of May. They have chosen three-part pieces to sing from the Quoddy Voices repertoire as well as several of their own favorites, and will discuss and perform a variety of songs and music styles.
