Save your empties for Girl Scout Troop 2259, who are collecting funds for badges, camping, and a trip to New York City and Connecticut in June 2022! Bring the bottles to the Strawberry Patch on Route 1 in Perry (8:00 am to 4:00 pm) through January 9, or drop them off anytime at 166 Little Falls Road in Pembroke (leave them in front of the barn).

Community members are invited to join Healthy Acadia on Thursday, January 6, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., via Zoom for, "The Presence-and Presents-of Our Voices," with special guest Danielle Woerner.

Ms. Woerner will lead participants in exploring how developing the simple habit of being attentive to the sound and sensation of our voices, not just the content of what we’re saying, can transform our communication with others - and with ourselves. The 4-H Aquarium Club is open to youth ages 5–18 who are interested in being members of a community of youth aquarium hobbyists. This online group is for Maine youth who already have an aquarium hobby, or who are looking to start one, to come together to talk about their love for fish and aquaria. The club is led by aquaculture experts Dr. Scarlett Tudor from UMaine’s Aquaculture Research Institute, and Melissa Malmstedt from the UMaine Center for Cooperative Aquaculture Research (CCAR)

The club meets during the first week of each month, on Thursday evenings at 5:30 p.m. Learn more and sign up.

Christian Music Share Nights will start up again on January 6 and will continue to be held the first Thursday of each month. We will gather on the 1st Floor of the Cherryfield Academy Community Center, located at 53 Main Street, Cherryfield, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A sound system is provided.
