In collaboration with the Rural Community of Campobello Rec Council, Go NB, and CICS, the Junior NBA basketball program will begin the week of January 10th. This 12 week program will be for Grades K-2 and 3-5 co-ed. Each participant will receive their own NBA team branded reversible jersey, Spalding basketball, parent guide, poster and certificate.
Registrations are available at the rural community office and the school office. Registration deadline is December 10th. Please return completed registrations and waivers to either office. There is no direct cost to participants. Contact Carson Savage via Facebook with any questions.Find out more »
Children in the Grand Manan area are invited to take part in a series of online Christmas ornament building workshops. Each week, families can pick up kits for the week's video, which will be posted on the Grand Manan library's Facebook page. The workshops will run through the week of December 15.Find out more »
Walkers are welcome Monday through Friday (except Wednesday) from 7:00 to 9:00 am on days that school is in session. Masks are required. It also is a good idea to bring a change of footwear especially when it is wet or snowy. It is a great place to walk safely at your own pace.

Adults 55 and up are invited to utilize the flat, indoor walking space at the aquarium for a healthy and protected place to keep moving this fall. Walks will be held at the Fundy Discovery Aquarium on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:30 to 10:00 am through December 15.
Preregistration is not required. Cost is $2 at the door, or members get in free.Find out more »
The Town of St. Andrews offers multiple opportunities for skating at W.C. O'Neill Arena. Public skating is available Mondays from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, Wednesdays from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, Sundays from 11:15 am to 12:15 pm for $2; Teens with Sticks (intended to train on stick skills) is open from Sundays, 1:00 to 2:00 pm for $2; and Tykes with Sticks (under age 12) is open on Fridays from 3:30 to 4:30. Those interested in joining America's fastest growing sport can head to Calais Elementary on Mondays and Thursdays at 5:00 pm. Balls and nets will be provided, and paddles will be available if needed. Please dress for indoor playing and wear non-marking court shoes.

Come to the Lubec Community Outreach Center on Mondays and Wednesdays evenings to get some hands-on instruction in ceramics with Gina Brown-Delnicki of Country by Design.
Sit and paint or classes are $5 a night; this does not include your bisque project, lighting kits, extra firing if needed, etc. There will be brushes to use, as well as others to purchase and information on where to buy more.
