A holiday dinner delivery will be provided to any senior/veteran within the Lubec/Trescott area. If you were delivered a meal last year, you will receive a call to ask if you would like to be included this year. If you did not participate last year and are a senior/veteran or know one living within the Lubec or Trescott community and would like a warm holiday meal delivered to your door, please call the community center at (207) 733-5262 to be included in the delivery route. We will continue to accept registrations until November 30.
Keeping with tradition, the Masons Washington Lodge #37 AF&AM Lubec will be cooking a delicious meal and the Lubec Women’s Club will be baking up a storm of yummy sweets! “We want to keep our community members safe.” states Eleody Libby, LCOC Director, “Therefore, like last year, we will be delivering the meal.”Find out more »
Adults 55 and up are invited to utilize the flat, indoor walking space at the aquarium for a healthy and protected place to keep moving this fall. Walks will be held at the Fundy Discovery Aquarium on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8:30 to 10:00 am through December 15.
Preregistration is not required. Cost is $2 at the door, or members get in free.Find out more »
Join wellness coach Heather Brown for Anchorage Wellness Walks to help support the Anchorage Provincial Park trails upgrade project and promote personal wellness. Walks will be conducted regularly on Fridays at 7 pm and Saturdays at 4 pm.

Just in time for holiday shopping! This exhibition at Sunbury Shores in St. Andrews showcases over 250 pieces by over 50 local artists: pottery, jewelry, paintings, photography, woodworking, fine textiles, and more. It will run through December 31.
The opening reception for this exhibit is Friday, November 26 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Attendance for the opening reception is limited to 16 attendees per half-hour time slot. This event is free, however, advance booking is required. Due to the limited number of time slots and the high number of artists, we ask that bookings be limited to a max of 2 tickets, please. The 5th annual Gift Gala at the Garcelon will be held on Friday, November 26 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm. There are lots of vendors scheduled for this year's event, including old favorites and new booths. It will be a great night to do some local shopping for handmade gifts and helpful wares.

It's that time of year! The annual Grand Manan Christmas Parade is on Friday, November 26th at 6:00 pm. The parade will start at the Anglican (Stone) Church on Ingalls head and go to the Community Center.
Floats, walking groups, bikers, etc are all welcome. Prizes for floats start at $500 and the best three costumes of all participants will receive $50. Please call 662-7059 to register your float!Find out more »
