Campobello is celebrating Seaglass September, a monthlong festival born in 2020 when the need social distancing made the previous Seaglass Festival weekend impractical. Now here to stay, it's a month of seaglass collecting among Campobello's most beautiful beaches!

Artist Exhibit: Lauren Luloff

Lubec Landmarks Mulholland Gallery 50 Water Street, Lubec

Lauren Luloff will be the featured artist at the Mulholland Gallery in Lubec from September 9 - 28. Opening reception will be on September 11 from 5 - 7 pm.

Part of the McCurdy Smokehouse complex is the former Mulholland Market. It was the first building restored by Lubec Landmarks and now serves as the organization's non-profit gallery (The Mulholland Gallery).

Lubec Landmarks encourages and supports local artists and craftspeople with seasonal shows of their works at the gallery. Purchases made at the gallery and donations made at the museum go to the preservation of the McCurdy Smokehouse complex so that future generations may be educated of the history of the fishing industry in the region.

See the Eastport Gallery September member show now for the latest additions to the gallery. The Gallery at 109 Water St. is open Wednesday through Sunday, 11 am - 5 pm but will close for the season on October 3rd. Water Color Art Classes in Calais

Solemn Walk

Tracy Dean Bird Platform Prince of Wales Street, St. Andrews

The extended community of St. Andrews is invited to take part in a Solemn Walk in recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30.

Participants will meet at Tracy Dean Bird Platform, rain or shine. There will be a smudging and welcoming ceremony, followed by the Solem Walk around Indian Point.

Goodwill donations to St. Stephen University's reconciliation efforts will be accepted.

Yoga at Stockford Park with Ginny Beisel

Experience the healing of yoga in an outdoor atmosphere!

You can catch Ginny teaching all levels of outdoor classes at Stockford Park in Lubec on Sundays from 10-11 am, and Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 pm. Outdoor classes run through the end of October.

Ginny Beisel is a 200 hour registered yoga teacher living in Lubec Maine. She discovered yoga while healing from a running injury and fell in love with yoga’s simple but powerful practices. She believes in helping her students discover and explore yoga’s dynamic nature in their own unique way. By leading classes that are accessible and affordable, Ginny strives to bring equity to the yoga community.
