North Church Northwest Corner of Washington and High Streets, Eastport

Come to the opening night of Crystal Veil I: an installation by Julia Sinelnikova on Friday, July 23, between 5 and 9:30 pm, as part of Eastport Artwork Passport weekend. Sinelnikova is a StudioWorks alum who will perform as The Oracle at 8 pm. This exhibition will be ongoing with open hours TBA for summer and fall 2021.

Shorelines by Metal Six

Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre 139 Water Street, St. Andrews

Six artists, each exhibiting their unique jewellry and metal art - it's all part of Shorelines by Metal Six, now showing at Sunbury Shores through October 2. In this exhibition, each member focuses on the macro and micro views that the shoreline offers. Some are inspired and respond to the fine details that a beachcombing session can glean. Using found materials and creating sculptural and wearable objects (Kristen Bishop and Audrée Hamelin St-Amour). Others respond to a greater view of the inhabitants of the ocean (Erica Stanley). Imagined landscapes house brooches inspired by worn seaside sheds and structures (Brigitte Clavette), small colourful vessel forms come alive, like microscopic sea life (Kristyn Cooper) and agates and rocks are embedded into jewellery (Kristianne Levesque).

Folk Art Festival

Kingsbrae Garden Art Gallery 220 King Street, St. Andrews

Kingsbrae Gardens is holding its 9th semi-annual Folk Art Festival with a display in its gallery (open the public at no cost) through October 15, 10 am to 5 pm. Featured artists include Jantje Blokhuis-Mulder, Lorain Ebbett-Rideout, Kyle Hargrove, Denny Lunn, Helen Pye, April Thomas, and more.

Four-person Scramble

St. Stephen Golf Club Old Bay Road, Saint Stephen

Golfers, grab your clubs! The third annual four-person scramble in St. Stephen is here. Rescheduled due to pending inclement weather, the tournament will be held on September 24 with registration open until September 17.

There will be three divisions, with Men and Ladies competing for 18 holes, and a Fun division for 9 holes. Prizes will be given for the closest to the pin and the longest drive. After the tournament, all participants are invited to partake in a "to go" complimentary meal.

All proceeds for the tournament will go the St. Stephen Area Chamber of Commerce 2022 SSHS scholarship.

Anchorage Wellness Walks

Anchorage Provincial Park Anchorage Road, Grand Manan
