Eastport Gallery 2021 Annual Community Show

The Eastport Gallery will open for the summer season on Saturday, June 5, with its annual Community Show. This year the show will be presented both live in the Water Street gallery and online in the virtual gallery. The show will run in the front rooms of the gallery from June 5 through June 19, and will continue in the virtual gallery from June 5 through July 17.

Do you enjoy the outdoors? Do you appreciate nature? Do you prefer trash free trails? If you said yes to any of these questions and are looking for a way to give back to the community, please join Downeast Lakes Land Trust and the Grand Lake Stream ATV Club for a Community and Forest Clean Up Day! This annual volunteer event helps beautify the streets and roads of Grand Lake Stream and the Downeast Lakes Community Forest for the start of summer. Meet in the Grand Lake Stream School Building on June 19th at 8:30 a.m. Lunch, work gloves, and trash bags will be provided.

Photography 101: Remove the Fear

Memorial unveiling for 14 Children who drowned from Lubec in 1939 at 1:00 pm promptly - at the Lubec Historical Society Building 135 Main Street Lubec, ME.

Author of the book "Remember the Children" & the son of the only survivor will unveil the memorial and speak. Refreshments afterward. Rain or shine the memorial will be unveiled.
