Studio Social Sundays – Print Making & Throw Together Pottery

Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre 139 Water Street, St. Andrews

A wonderful opportunity to learn the fascinating world of printmaking. Whether it’s all-new, or you have the experience, we are offering Sunday afternoon open studio time to work on your own projects in the company of experienced and highly acclaimed printmakers. Alanna Baird and/or Ann Manuel will be on hand to advise, encourage and assist. Each month’s block of 4 sessions will be a look at a different technique of printmaking.
These sessions in our beautiful and bright renovated print studio will be relaxed and welcoming. Whether you want to produce your own cards, limited edition artworks, or simply learn new skills and express your creativity, this is the place to be!

This Social Sunday is an open studio where you can mingle, share ideas, and work on your independent projects. An experienced ceramicist, Travis Melanson, is our studio technician. The first week will include a short tutorial to introduce you to the studio and the materials available for you to use. The requirement is that you have basic knowledge of throwing pottery or some experience in working with clay.
You can be a beginner with basic knowledge or an experienced artist. Each Studio Social has appointed an experienced artist as a studio technician to help you with equipment, answer questions about our studios and materials will be available to you.
