A Literary Evening with Catherine J.S Lee

The Eastport Gallery presents a virtual literary talk with Catherine J.S. Lee exploring her fiction, haiku and haibun. The talk, hosted by Lora Whelan is available to view online.

A seventh-generation Mainer, Catherine J.S. Lee began writing haiku in 2007 and found immediate success, publishing widely, winning numerous awards, and being named an “emerging voice in English-language haiku” in Red Moon Press’s A New Resonance series. She won the 2010 Turtle Light Press Haiku Chapbook Competition for her collection, All That Remains, and was invited to edit the annual members’ anthology of the Haiku Society of America in 2015.

“Heart for the Arts” Show & Silent Auction

Eastport Gallery 109 Water Street, Eastport

Celebrate the season of love with the Eastport Gallery's "Hearts for the Arts" show and silent auction, February 1-14, featuring works by extended community and Eastport Gallery members. The exhibition and online silent auction, "Is a beautiful reflection of talent and love for our area," notes Gallery President Joan Lowden.

Visit the windows of the Eastport Gallery at 109 Water Street to view many of the items up close. The online auction will end on Valentine's Day - February 14th - with a Zoom event featuring love songs by local musicians, a showcase of the art available for bid and a chance to mix and mingle with friends in an online reception.
