Tuesday Arts Group for Seniors

Sunbury Shores Arts and Nature Centre 139 Water Street, ST. Andrews

This new program at SSANC is aimed at providing a relaxed social opportunity to seniors in our community – a chance to explore and share arts knowledge and skills.  Materials will be provided. Informal instruction with an experienced facilitator will be offered to provide the chance to explore new media and work on small projects.  We encourage participants to work on their own projects, help each other with shared skills and social interaction.

Each 4 week block will look at different media, including pottery, painting, printing, stained glass, photography and more.

SSANC provides the studio space (with safe social distancing), basic materials and experienced instructor.  Come and learn something new – or revisit a former hobby.  These classes are designed to be flexible and responsive to students needs and preferences, and can evolve as they go.

With thanks for funding from the ESDC New Horizons for Seniors grants program.
