The “Get to Know Saint John Walking Tour Series” presented by the New Brunswick Museum will take place every Thursday evening of the summer at 6pm and every Saturday morning at 11:30am.
On the afternoon of June 20, 1877 over 1,600 structures in Uptown Saint John were destroyed by what would come to be known as “The Great Fire”. This walking tour will explore structures that survived the blaze, some that were built after it, and how the event has shaped the city as it exists today.
