Eastport Arts Center’s weekly Life Drawing Workshop will resume Wednesday, September 18 at 7 pm, and will meet weekly from 7-9 pm Wednesdays through November 6. The group, which will work from a live model, will be led by Anne Shields Hopkins, a frequent participant in past sessions of the workshop. Hopkins was raised in the salty North Atlantic and was trained at the Pratt Institute. They are a maker, mother, organizer and fire builder, and have become known for bringing a flair for dramatic play to the weekly community art gatherings. Participants, who may work in any medium of their choice, should expect movement, openings, quiet moments and excitement in the workshop’s self-guided 2 hours of creation. Participation fee will be $10/session, or $60 for the full 8 weeks.Find out more »
