This course places strong emphasis on a complete understanding of colour and light as it relates to creating the illusion of three-dimensional space on a two-dimensional surface. TIMA Art: Botanical Seaweed Printing and Gyotaku Printmaking, with StudioWorks Artist-in Residence Ada Cruz
Gyotaku originally was a method fishermen used to keep track of the number of fish they caught and to keep a document of the sizes of the fish. this tradition became an art form. Participants will use printing ink on unscaled fish and seaweed and hand print on paper. All ages, small children accompanied by an adult.Find out more »
