Eastport Music Festival

The first annual Eastport Music Festival features home grown original music from all over Maine as well as diverse acts hailing from Athens, Georgia; Austin, Texas; Asbury Park, NJ; Hollywood, California and many places in between! Local performers include Fiddle Chick and Picky, Patrick Cormier, Colie Brice, Vickie Shields and Alberta Hunter. Peavey Library's Bandstand will serve as the main stage. Admission is free but donations to the Peavey Library are encouraged. Sponsored by the city's Economic Development and Growth initiative in partnership with Colie Brice and the Peavey Library.  Music starts at 3 pm on Friday, August 9 with three acts,  and will continue with multiple acts starting at 1 pm on Saturday, August 10,  and again on Sunday, August 11 at 10 am.

Weekend Print Making Workshop

In this introductory course designed for adults and teenagers, you will learn some low-cost, minimal-equipment printmaking techniques that you can easily explore further on your own.  No previous experience necessary. We supply all of the materials and equipment. This is a great art learning opportunity at a minimal cost.  Just bring yourself, your enthusiasm, and your creative spirit!  For Ages 13+.  There is a materials and registration fee of $50.  Please call the Museum to register:  662-3524.  Maximum Enrolment is 15 people.
