Youth Art Month Exhibition seeking Homeschooled students’ artworks
Eastport Arts Center will present the 9th Annual Youth Art Month Exhibition from April 1 through May 4, at Washington Street Gallery.
Organizers of the exhibition are currently seeking submissions of artwork by homeschooled students, and invite any interested in contributing a work to email Cynthia, firstname.lastname@example.org, by March 24 to arrange drop-off.
A perennial favorite at the Arts Center, the show will this year also include artwork from students of the following schools: Sipayik Elementary, Calais Junior/ Senior High, Whiting Elementary, Machias Junior/ Senior High, Rose Gaffney Elementary, Washington Academy, Woodland Elementary, Woodland Junior/ Senior High, Eastport Elementary and Shead High.
A special reception for the show will be held from 2-4 pm, Saturday, April 8.
Washington Street Gallery is on the first floor of Eastport Arts Center, at 36 Washington Street, Eastport, and is handicapped-accessible. EAC abides by State of Maine CDC COVID guidelines, revisiting our policy monthly. At this time, EAC encourages people to wear masks when in our building.
