The New Brunswick chapter of Women in the Wood will have its launch event on March 25 (open to the public). Women in the Wood is a support group for women who work in, with, or for the woods. Area vendors who feature local wood crafts, Indigenous products, or non-timber forest products are invited to come and set up a table (no cost, but you’ll need your own table). Attendees can expect to see a Lumber Jills demo, axe throwing, and a few competitions.
