“The Little K Gallery”, one of Maine’s first free little art galleries
September 3 @ 8:00 am - 8:00 pm UTC-5
An event every week that begins at 8:00 am on Tuesday and Friday, repeating until September 30, 2021
This is one of the first free little art galleries (FLAGs) in Maine, located at 76 High Street a few blocks from downtown.
This little gallery was built by local artisans to house the works of local artists, hobbyists, craftspeople – we welcome small works of any form, in any medium.
Come by to see the creativity of our community!
If you see something you like – take it. If you have something to share – leave it. There is no requirement to make an exchange. Just help us to keep the gallery stocked if you want to share any of your creations. (Note: Free means free! But please leave the tiny gallery goers and any display items)
This gallery is for everyone: adults, students, children, residents and visitors.
Come discover and/or share the joy of art. This is a happy place to visit!
Our Instagram page is Little_K_Gallery. We encourage visitors to post pictures to #littlekgallery. If you leave something, do tag it with your name and post.
Remember this is a collaborative venture, so help us to keep the gallery organized. Move pieces around if you take anything and try not to block other people’s works if you leave something. If the gallery is too full, bring your works of art back another day.
Help us spread the word: tell your friends and bring your children (and their art too).
