StudioWorks Artist Talk: Nancy Cohen

Join current StudioWorks Artist-in-Residence, Nancy Cohen, on Wednesday, June 27, at 7 pm at the Seaman’s Church, 26 Middle Street, Eastport, for a talk about the work she’s done during the past month while in residence. Nancy Cohen lives and works in Jersey City, NJ and holds an MFA from Columbia University. She teaches at Pratt Institute and Queens College and maintains a studio. While she is trained in ceramics and sculpture, her work ranges from handmade paper, painting, drawing, glass, sculpture and site-specific installation. During her time at StudioWorks, Cohen is making handmade paper and creating mixed media wall works that relate to the water of Passamaquoddy Bay and the shoreline features.
