Sipp Bay Community Celebration & Clam Bake

September 14 @ 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Free

“We appreciate working with you here in Washington County”

The Maine Coast Heritage Trust stewardship and lands crew is building an old-fashioned clam bake at the beach at the Sipp Bay Preserve in Perry. We plan to cook clams, corn and potatoes in the bake, and grill hot dogs and hamburgers on the grill.

  • 2:30 – Optional nature walk
  • 3:30 pm – Spirit Circle drum group
  • 5:00 pm – dinner served!

This event is free and open to the public

A rain date is set for Sunday, September 15th.

Come early if you want to see the bake being built; we plan to cover the bake at 2:00 pm.

Preregistration is suggested but not required so we know how many people to expect. (Food available til it runs out!) If we have to move to the rain date, we’ll notify everyone who is registered via email on Friday, Sept. 13.

All are welcome – Free and open to the public. See you there!
