The popular Second Saturday String Jams continue in 2023 at the Old Sow Grill in Eastport, on the second Saturday of each month from 3-5 pm. Come to play music or come simply to listen and enjoy. This jam is hosted by the house band, Moose Island Contradance, Etc. (MICE), and will be held monthly. MICE features Alice Schuth, Susan Luthin, Kara McCrimmon, Jim O’Neil and Joan Lowden. Music charts will be provided so all are encouraged to bring instruments and join the fun – fiddle, guitar, ukelele, banjo, spoons, bodhran, djembe, voice – all levels welcome.
