Print Lessons: Iterations & Archives draws connections between printmaking and storytelling to share the story of Robert Van de Peer and the Sunbury Shores Art & Nature Centre’s print studio. Using editioned prints from the studio’s archive going back to 1998, conversations with the artists whose work is found in said archives, and the curator’s personal experience, this exhibition provides lessons on the process of print making, the forms that documenting history can take, and how to find importance in the act of saving and retelling. Runs September 4 – October 31; opening Friday, September 4, 5 – 7 pm.
