Pembroke artists featured in latest EAC video
October 31, 2022

If you missed the recent performance of Barbara Toothpick and Alan HorseRadish at the Eastport Arts Center, or if you’d like a refresher, good news! The performance is now available for viewing online as EAC’s most recent video release. Toothpick’s original songs tell stories about events in Pembroke in the 1970s and 1980s when the couple lived in Washington County full-time: the 3rd of July dance at the old high school where the fire station is now; the fight that brought 27 cop cars into town; the dirty movies Howard Smith showed in the Sears building across the street from the couple’s home; and the Girl Scout song Toothpick wrote while HorseRadish was Scout Leader.
