Ice cores, climate change and the future of Washington County

*canceled* In the midst of ongoing discussions surrounding climate change, understanding what the future holds for Downeast Maine can be very difficult. On March 31, University of Maine researcher Dominic Winski will present his research using alpine and polar ice cores to learn more about the Earth’s climate and how that knowledge can be applied to specific regions, such as Washington County.
The event will include a presentation followed by group discussion and Q&A.
