Get To Know Saint John Walking Tour Series – Architecture & The Great Fire

An event every week that begins at 11:30 am on Thursday and Saturday, repeating until August 30, 2020
On the afternoon of June 20, 1877 over 1,600 structures in Uptown Saint John were destroyed by what would come to be known as “The Great Fire”. This walking tour will explore structures that survived the blaze, some that were built after it, and how the event has shaped the city as it exists today.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, space is limited so bookings must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Booking can be made by calling the New Brunswick Museum at (506) 643-2300. Cost is $5 per person or free with regular admission and can be paid for over the phone or on site.
All walks will begin at the John Hooper clock outside the main doors of Market Square.
